- 2 cups (400 g) brown sugar
- 1 1/3 cup (330 ml) water
- 1 1/3 cup (130 g) cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan, bring to simmer.
- Whisk in cocoa powder.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Let cool.
