Ingredients (serves 2):
- 500 g carrots,
- 1 onion,
- a pinch of salt,
- 1 tbsp olive oil,
- 1/2 tsp ground corriander or caraway seeds,
- 1/2 tsp rosemary,
- ground black pepper,
- 4 tbsp soy sauce,
- 200 ml water.
Algorithm:
- Cut the carrot into thin rounds, preferably using a food processor.
- Heat up the oil in a pan and add the onion and salt and stir fry.
- When the onion turns brown a little, add the carrot and stir fry for a while.
- Add the pepper, rosemary and corriander or caraway seeds, mix.
- Add the soy sauce, mix and stir fry for a while.
- Add the water, cover with a lid and let it stew for 15 minutes, until the water evaporates and the soy sauce creates a thin film on the carrot.
- Can be server with e.g. egg.
