5-Minute Molten Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients (2 servings):
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour,
  • 4 tbsp sugar,
  • 3 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder,
  • Pinch of salt,
  • 3 tbsp of whole milk,
  • 3 tbsp of neutral cooking oil (most cooking oils except olive oil),
  • 1 egg,
  • 2 tbsp of semi-sweet chocolate chips /chocolate shavings (plus a bit more for garnishing).
  1. Mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add milk, oil, egg and chocolate chips and mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into 2 microwave-safe cups and cook at max power for 1:10 minutes.
  4. Garnish with the rest of chocolate chips and a fruit you like (e.g. banana, mandarine orange).
