Honeyed Prawns

Ingredients (2 servings):
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil,
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic,
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger,
  • 200 g shrimp (shelled, deveined),
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey,
  • 2 tsp soy sauce,
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds.
Algorithm:
  1. Heat the oil in a wok or heavy based pan.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir-fry the prawns until pink.
  4. Stir in the honey and the soy sauce.
  5. Serve on a bed of boiled rice and sprinkle with sliced shallots or chopped coriander and sesame seeds.
