Mint Lime Syrup

  • 2 cups packed mint leaves, stems removed, washed,
  • 2 cups sugar,
  • 1 cup water,
  • juice of 2 limes.
  1. Place sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and stir until dissolved.
  2. Stir in the mint and the lime juice until combined.
  3. Simmer for 5--6 min.
  4. Let cool and strain into a glass jar, keeps for weeks.
